A French cosmopolitan expat, Ariane studied literature in Paris and London, before graduating from the American Film Institute Conservatory with an MFA in screenwriting. Passionate about art and history, Ariane’s screenplays focus on female empowerment with passionate protagonists who fight society's injustices to find their voice. If period dramas are her favourite genre, Ariane enjoys writing dark comedies – especially when they’re about death – and adaptions of her favourite books.
